Ce r\u00e9chauffement est d\u00fb en grande partie \u00e0 l&#39;augmentation des \u00e9missions dans l&#39;atmosph\u00e8re de dioxyde de carbone et d&#39;autres gaz \u00e0 effet de serre caus\u00e9s par les activit\u00e9s humaines, selon Schmidt.<\/p>\n<p>La dynamique m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique affecte souvent les temp\u00e9ratures r\u00e9gionales, de sorte que toutes les r\u00e9gions de la plan\u00e8te n&#39;ont pas connu le m\u00eame r\u00e9chauffement. Ces calculs donnent les \u00e9carts de temp\u00e9rature moyens globaux par rapport \u00e0 la p\u00e9riode de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de 1951 \u00e0 1980.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que l&#39;emplacement des stations m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques et les pratiques de mesure changent avec le temps, l&#39;interpr\u00e9tation des diff\u00e9rences de temp\u00e9rature moyennes globales sp\u00e9cifiques d&#39;une ann\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#39;autre comporte certaines incertitudes.
