C\u2019est pourquoi ils doivent augmenter leur consommation d\u2019eau pendant la vie active des seniors en \u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>L&#39;eau, qui repr\u00e9sente environ 60% du corps humain, est essentielle \u00e0 la sant\u00e9. Il contient des nutriments, prot\u00e8ge les tissus et les organes, \u00e9limine les toxines, maintient une temp\u00e9rature corporelle normale, lubrifie et amortit les articulations.<\/p>\n<p>Les activit\u00e9s de plein air quotidiennes comme le jardinage, la marche, le golf ou le v\u00e9lo peuvent rapidement entra\u00eener une perte importante de liquide par la transpiration. Dans la chaleur ou m\u00eame \u00e0 la sueur \u00e0 l&#39;int\u00e9rieur, les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es ne doivent pas attendre d&#39;avoir soif pour boire un verre. En fait, la sensation de soif diminue avec l\u2019\u00e2ge et la d\u00e9shydratation peut s\u2019installer sans que les a\u00een\u00e9s ne soient conscients.<\/p>\n<p>Alors, profitez de la vie active pour les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es, mais soyez bon pour votre corps et hydratez-vous tout au long de la journ\u00e9e. Pour citer un a\u00een\u00e9 am\u00e9ricain bien connu, Ben Franklin: \u00abMieux vaut pr\u00e9venir que gu\u00e9rir\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Boire plus d&#39;eau ou d&#39;autres liquides est \u00e0 la fois la pr\u00e9vention et le traitement de la d\u00e9shydratation. L&#39;Institute of Medicine recommande aux hommes de boire environ 3 litres (soit 13 tasses) et aux femmes 2,2 litres (ou 9 tasses) de liquides par jour. Toutes les boissons comptent pour le total, de m\u00eame que les aliments \u00e0 forte teneur en eau, tels que les fruits et les l\u00e9gumes.<\/p>\n<h3>Suivez la vie active des a\u00een\u00e9s en suivant ces conseils d&#39;hydratation par temps chaud<\/h3>\n<p>Voici quelques conseils pour \u00e9viter la d\u00e9shydratation en \u00e9t\u00e9 ou \u00e0 tout autre moment de l\u2019ann\u00e9e:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mangez ces fruits et l\u00e9gumes qui combattent la d\u00e9shydratation: raisins, pamplemousse, cantaloup, melon d&#39;eau, tomates, courgettes, concombres et salades vari\u00e9es.<\/li>\n<li>Buvez de l&#39;eau, des boissons pour sportifs, des jus de fruits, du th\u00e9, du caf\u00e9, du bouillon ou du lait tout au long de la journ\u00e9e.<\/li>\n<li>Limitez votre consommation d&#39;alcool, ce qui peut augmenter le risque de d\u00e9shydratation.<\/li>\n<li>Buvez de l&#39;eau avant et apr\u00e8s l&#39;exercice ou avant de sortir au soleil.<\/li>\n<li>Assurez-vous que les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es atteintes de d\u00e9mence consomment suffisamment d&#39;eau, car elles pourraient oublier de boire.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>\u00catre conscient des sympt\u00f4mes de la d\u00e9shydratation<\/h3>\n<p>Soyez pr\u00e9par\u00e9 en connaissant les sympt\u00f4mes de d\u00e9shydratation l\u00e9g\u00e8re \u00e0 mod\u00e9r\u00e9e. Selon la clinique Mayo, ils ont la bouche s\u00e8che et collante; fatigue; la soif; diminution du d\u00e9bit urinaire; peau s\u00e8che; mal de t\u00eate; constipation; et des vertiges. Toute personne pr\u00e9sentant ces sympt\u00f4mes devrait consulter son m\u00e9decin.<\/p>\n<p>Des sympt\u00f4mes suppl\u00e9mentaires, signalant une d\u00e9shydratation grave, sont l&#39;irritabilit\u00e9, la confusion, des yeux enfonc\u00e9s, une pression art\u00e9rielle basse, de la fi\u00e8vre, des battements de coeur rapides et une respiration rapide.
